Welcome to Star Wars Galaxies New Beginnings!
We have guidelines that apply to your conduct and behavior on our discord, forums, and our game server. We appreciate you taking the time to review these guidelines and observe them as they serve to provide a fun environment for everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read and follow our guidelines. We hope you enjoy playing Star Wars Galaxies New Beginnings!
1) Players may not impersonate another person, celebrity, or Star Wars Galaxies New Beginnings Staff Member.
2) Players may not use profile pictures, custom status, usernames, or otherwise transmit or facilitate distribution of any content that is abusive, vulgar, sexually explicit, defamatory, infringing, invasive of personal privacy or publicity rights.
3) Players may not post, direct message, promote, or distribute ANY content that is illegal or promote or encourage ANY illegal activity including hacking, cracking, exploiting or ANY distribution of counterfeit software. Players may not upload or attempt to distribute or share ANY files that contain viruses, corrupted data, malicious software, or links to malicious websites.
4) Players may not post discussions regarding real world political, sexual, or religious topics in the Star Wars Galaxies New Beginnings discord or forums.
5) Messages deemed inappropriate to a particular channel in the Star Wars Galaxies Discord or Forums or that violate any of the rules stated above, will be removed. Messages that have been removed are not allowed to be re-posted.
6) Players may not disrupt the flow of the Star Wars Galaxies New Beginnings Discord chat with vulgar language, abusiveness, hitting the return key repeatedly or inputting large images so the screen goes by too fast to read, use of excessive posting in all capital letters in an attempt to get attention or disturb other users by “spamming” or flooding channels by posting repetitive text or pictures.
7) Player harassment is not allowed. Harassment is any unwanted behavior that is incessant, inescapable, derogatory and directed specifically at a player or group or guild. Users may not threaten, embarrass, or do anything to another player that is unwanted. This includes posting harassing, insulting, offensive, or abusive comments about players or sending unwanted messages in game,on the forums or in discord, or ANY derogatory/hateful comments that are sexual, racial, or related to disabilities. We have zero tolerance in regards to harassment. If you engage in harassment you will be removed from our services.
Trolling or Stalking other players is not allowed on ANY Star Wars Galaxies New Beginnings service. “Trolling” is defined as creating discontent on the Internet by starting quarrels or upsetting people by posting inflammatory or off-topic messages in an online community, and is not allowed. Repetative personal attacks on any player is also considered trolling. “Stalking” is defined as pursuing or approaching a player with unwanted behavior. Accounts created with the sole intent to “Troll” or “Stalk” another player will be immediately and permanently removed.
9) Users may not register an alternate account for the purpose of disobeying our community guidelines to avoid punishment of your main account. Alternate accounts created for this purpose will be permanently removed. Users may not register an alternate account to post in our discord or forums when your main account has been banned. These alternate accounts will be permanently removed.
10) Users may not post messages for any purpose other than personal communication with other community members regarding the Star Wars Galaxies community. Any real life advertising, promotional messaging, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or other commercial activities are not allowed. Including advertising for any other Star Wars Galaxies emulator or server communities. Users may not post or communicate any player’s real-world personal information on the Star Wars Galaxies New Beginnings Discord, Forums or in game on our server. This includes photographs or memes that were created using another player's real life photo, even if the profile picture was used on another Social Media platform.
11) If you have to report any message on Discord, please contact a member of the Star Wars Galaxies New Beginnings Staff via Direct Message, or you may report the player directly to Discord. If you have to report a post on our forums, please submit a ticket and include a screenshot as proof of the offense in your report.
12) The use of multiple accounts by the same person is strictly prohibited. If you wish to get permission for a family member(s) account who resides in your home, it must be approved on the forums by a staff member. Please see “Family Accounts” on our forums.
